Avengers in the new theater
Aug. 15th, 2012 12:51 amMy sister and I went to the newly opened movie theater to see the Avengesr, since she didn't have a chance to seeit in the theater when she came to visit me. She loved the movie, and so did I, but the "He's adopted" line still bothers me. I believe the right reaction to Natasha's "He killed 80 people in two days," should have been, "Yes, and he will be justly punished, just as I was when I stormed into Jotunheim and killed such and such number of Jotun." (By the way, how many Jotun did Thor kill in the movie? I am unable to find this information.)
I mean, what the hell, Thor? First you threaten reprisal for Loki being badmouthed, then suddenly distance yourself by stating he's merely adopted and not a true brother at all. As if an adopted member of the family is not family at all - and this from a guy who just a while ago pointed out to Loki how they were "raised together, played together, fought together," implying gret closeness. Where is that closeness now, when you are in the company of new friends?
