My fascination with e-book readers and tablet devices continues. I found yet another interesting one, this time more of a multifunction device then a dedicated e-reader. It's called ADAM, and it's manufactured by Notion Ink.

(Edited to add a longer video from SlashGear and put the whole thing behind the cut.)

It's not as pretty as Microsoft's Courier or the iPad, but looks very useful with it's multi-touch screen and note-taking ability. I wonder what the price is. Ah, to have won that lottery...

I don't really have anything to say about your post, but I just noticed how hot Ezra looks in your "calm" mood pic. :)

Yea, I have the same theme, I just hardly ever use the Calm one, so I didn't realize how yummy he looked. LOL

I tend to use the same ones over and over again, mostly because my moods are often influenced by not so pleasant events which keep repeating, but I've started actively working on changing some things, and one of the consequences is that I can now use more moods in my theme! Go me! :is shallow: :)

There are so many beautiful expressions she caught that it's a delight to look at them.

Yay for being able to use more moods!
I remember last summer I kept using "hot", cause it was hot out, but I don't think it's meant to be used that way. :)

That does look pretty cool!

I like the track-pad on the back... I've never liked touch-screens, so it's nice to see them thinking about other navigation methods. And the swivelly camera is *too* cute.

I am seriously considering getting one. I was thinking more along the lines of just a regular, plain e-book reader, but these multifunction devices are so nice I wish I had the money to get one right now. I have many pdfs that I need to read for my postgrad, and it would be very cool to have a not so big device with marking capability so that I could scribble notes on what I read. I *love* the camera!

It would also be totally awesome to have a fanfic and podfic collection on an SD card!
