...and I'll be traveling home to be with my family. My heart aches because this is one more year spending the holiday without mom.

Thanks! :hugs back: It's always the hardest during holidays, isn't it? Last year was especially difficult. This year, I'm trying to keep myself in a better mood and think of all the fun times from before. She was the kind of woman who loved humor and always enjoyed a good laugh. So I promised myself, for the next few days, whenever I see something amusing, I'm going to think of her.

(And man, date fail: I've been running around all day trying to finish various job related things and tie up any loose ends that I kept thinking it was Friday all day long! I just glanced at the date on my computer and realized it's Thursday! My mind skipped a whole day, that's how eager I am to get home.)
