Just look at this beauty:

It's a dual-screen netbook reminiscent of Microsoft's Courier. I want one! They're too darn expensive though. Read more about it on Toshiba's Libretto web page.

Oh my, that's very pretty. Love the name too! I covet it like Ezra covets gold :D

Isn't it gorgeous? I'm looking for a netbook to replace my 15" laptop I carry to and from work - the thing is incredibly heavy and is causing me back pain.

I will buy one locally because shipping+import taxes for online orders=no money for the rest of the month! But a girl can browse and dream, can't she? :D

Did you buy it? Did you not post something earlier about this in your journal?
I keep thinking it was this..................but maybe not.

No, it's too expensive, over $1000. That's way over my budget. If I win the lottery. :D

I've been bitten by the e-book/e-reader bug. I posted about something similar earlier, Microsoft's prototype e-reader called Courier (and you commented on it, saying that your doctor would appreciate something like it). I also posted about similar double-screen and single-screen devices (look up the books: e-readers tag). I have an e-ink reader by Astak called EZ Reader.

I knew I had seen something before, but could not remember other than a comment that I made about Dr. Meletis liking it.
Thanks for clarifying.....
:-)

This is still in the prototype phase, but it has great potential. It's small, portable, and runs a full operating system so you can install programs as necessary. There's been talk about a similar device for some time now, and how useful it would be for both creative types who might use it as a digital scrapbook of sorts for jotting down ideas, and for business types who need a calendar/organizer sort of thing.
