My website, www.dj-aida.com, is no more. My year of free hosting has expired, and I will be moving my files to another free host shortly. I did find a temporary solution (which might become permanent depending on the quality of their servers) at http://mag7wallpapers.isgreat.org/ [kick ass name, innit? ;)], so if you had me linked, please change the address.

I will let you know if it changes again. Sorry if this is an inconvenience for you.

I would appreciate you going over and checking to see if everything's working properly: if all the wallpapers are transferred and all the links pointing to the right locations. I also have a poll on the home page about the new look of the site which I'd love to test, so if you're feeling inclined, go for it.

Much obliged!

ETA I'm testing another host, http://mag7wallpapers.atbhost.net/. From what I could tell, this one has excellent forum feedback and people willing to help. I had some trouble logging in and they went out of their way to help. There's also a possibility of getting my own domain for participating in the forum, which shouldn't be difficult.

I'm inclined to go with them, but will have to wait and see how the domain situation turns out.

Thanks! I keep finding new things to tweak, and pretty soon there should be new material for the wallpaper pages. I have a bunch of half-done wallpapers that I had to put aside because of a papers due next week, and an exam the week after that. :shudders: I'd much rather be reading fics and making wallies... God, and I haven't even had time to send in my MoM nominations! (Any chance we can gang up on Spyglass and get her to finish "Savage Duty"??)

I sent in some MoM nominations but they haven't showed up yet. Don't know if they're having trouble with the form they're using this year.

As to 'Savage Duty', I've email Spyglass a number of times but she only answered a few, she stopped so I don't know if it's ever going to be finished. I'm kicking myself too, because she asked me if I wanted to read what she had of part 5 (said it was nearly finished and this was over a year ago) but I said no, that I would wait until it was complete.

Bugger.

But we could try again. :)

I'll have to do that in a couple of days.

!!! She asked me the same thing, and I said yes, but then I didn't hear from her for the longest time. I'll try again just in case. I hate cliffhangers! (~_~)

One other WiP I'd like to see finished is Tonny2's "Lost".

How geeky am I when I'm thinking about making a 404 error page and typing the address wrong just to see how it would look like? :sigh: There's no redemption for me...

I really like this. I snagged that template myself (but in the end, went with something else - http://cowboydreams.conadv.com/ - it's a slash archive site, I know it's not your thing, but I'm quite pleased with the layout and graphics).

I like your graphics, adaptations and the layout. It's sharp. Very well done.

:blushes: Thank you so much! I invested a lot of time and effort into it. I would have hated losing it.

I like how the archive looks, minimalistic and understated (completely unlike Ezra, but very close to Vin!).

It's funny, I think I was finally able to put into words my feelings (or rather, lack thereof) about slash over at [livejournal.com profile] 7men1destiny in a reply to [livejournal.com profile] vakair_dars comment on possibly writing a tag to "Obsession" here. One thing I can't stand is incest, though. Makes my skin crawl.

I just went and read your feelings about slash, and what a surprise, I feel the exact same way! LOL I just don't get it, and never will. I actually thought there was something wrong with me (which sounds so ridiculous now!) when I first came onto LJ, because it seemed like everyone was slashing everyone, and I just did not get it. I just can't see male characters who I see as straight, and almost as family, getting it on with each other. But like I just told someone else, whatever floats your boat!

Anywhoo, the site looks great! I really like the red, it's so very Ezra.

I sometimes joke that I must have dropped and broke my slash goggles since I don't seem to see what's so obvious to most.

I stopped justifying my likes and dislikes a long time ago. I'll be happy to discuss your views with you, and I'm interested in hearing about why you think this particular scene/gesture/line can be viewed this way, but don't push your beliefs on me. I'm not trying to do that to you. If you can see something there, wonderful, it could mean you have a more active imagination than I do. Lets agree to disagree.

I've been lucky in that our fandom seems to be largely free of 'ship or slash vs. gen wars. Can't speak for how it was say, three, five, ten years ago, but people seem to be very respectful of each other. I like that.

Thank you! I love the red, it's become my favorite color. I need to make a graphic for the thank you page that appears when people leave a comment (maybe him tipping a hat), and it'll be done.
