Chaucer!

Hi there!

I'm sorry I've been away for so long, but things haven't been that great for me lately.  I was only able to make one new wallpaper - of Chaucer (and Ezra), no less! - and a variation of the Ezra DVD wallpaper. 

The credit for Chaucer's name goes to Kristin, and I've read so many NotTasha's stories with him in them that that's how I see him.  



The other one is, like I said, a variation of Ezra's wallpaper.  Since his was the first one I made, and since the other boys got nice quotes and little pictures at the bottom of the wallpaper, I thought I should rectify that oversight:


(PS - There's another one in the gallery, not much difference, just some extra text.  You will also find two more old ones of Ezra in "Serpents".)

Beautiful new wallpapers, as usual which I've added to my folder of your work. I really like the Chaucer and Ezra one. The silhoutte of Ezra and Chaucer is wonderful. I adore how you are able to seamlessly blend the pictures, text and the background as you have done here and in all your wallpapers. The "Of Such Bold and Bloody Causes" is another gorgeous example of that. In that wall, I love how you made it appear as if the other five were crowded around Ezra and Nathan. Also love the coloring of it.

Aida, I also loove your new header. :)

Speaking of headers, I wanted to ask you if it would be all right to use one of your older wallpapers, "Man at Work" for a header at my lj? Also would be it all right if I used some of the wood bacground of the pic for background use of my lj? Of course, I'd give proper credit. Please let me know.

One more thing, I adore the Ezra mood theme you have and I tried to download it from the inventor's lj but it is no longer an active link. Do you think, you could send me the file and I could take it from there? Again, please let me know.

I adore how you are able to seamlessly blend the pictures, text and the background...
It took a lot of work, and I'm constantly learning new ways to blend images seamlessly. And "Such Bold and Bloody Causes" definitely deserved the extra time and effort. It actually took more time to find the appropriate pictures than making the wallpaper.

Thank you! I've been working on getting my LJ to look the way I want it for a couple of months and it's slowly getting there. My goal is to have it appear as newspapers on a desk. (But, alas, I lack the time!)

Darling, you can use whatever you want. I made it a policy to let people use my work to make their own if they want to, since I used brushes and textures made by others to make mine. So, go right ahead!

Neither am I, but I've been haunting the Smooth Sailing help community for advice, and using a trial and error method to see what happens when I make a change in the css. It doesn't always work, lemme tell ya! :D

No, it wouldn't be the same. I could never imagine anyone else as Ezra and the rest of the boys. But they all have other things now and I doubt very much they'd be able to work out a schedule that would suit all of them, even if they were willing to do it.

Well, like I said, we can dream!
