So my PET/CT scan results came back: no metastases, the lymphoma is limited just to the lymph node and tonsil, which are both out. :deep sigh of relief: 

 

I'm scheduled for 6 to 8 cycles, with each cycle lasting 21 days. I start the treatment in hospital, but will eventually transfer to outpatient care. They will reevaluate my progress after the first few cycles, repeat the PET/CT scan and adjust the treatment accordingly.

This is very, very good news indeed *hugs* and I hope things go as well as they can with the treatment cycles. Will you be starting straight away?

Yes, I've already started, this Thursday, and right now I'm home, fighting nausea unfortunately :( The scariest part was the injection I received in my spine; I lost consciousness for a moment after it was done. And now I have to deal with taking 30 pills a day o_O
