Got some things to share

I must have the worst luck in the world. My vacation plans for this year were totally ruined by summer school and retake exams, and after that was taken care of, my back started acting up. Again. Twice in as many months. I was incapacitated for days. The worst thing is that I get the feeling that my doctor, and quite a few of my family member, don't believe that I'm actually in pain. I just returned from my home town, and I will attempt (again) to convince my doctor to send me in for some tests.

Like my plans for a shiny vacation, my plan to participate in naarmamo failed utterly. I guess I'll try again next year. :sigh:

[Lotsa cuts cause I previewed this thing and it was LONG! ]

I had seen a couple of episodes a long time ago on a local station, but they: 1. didn't show all the episodes (I think maybe a third) and 2. what little they did put on air was shown out of order. It was all very confusing. :(

I went through the show in a few days, then watched the movie. Gah! Yet another show that was stupidly canceled. But they have such cool materials available. Their companion books (hee!) are fantastic, and I was able to snag both volumes for a very low price on Amazon. Why doesn't MGM produce something like that for Mag7? :wails: And just look at the Big Damn Heroes figurines - imagine having one of Ezra doing the horse jump and swirl and pointing his guns at two people (in The New Law, I think it was). :guh:

Fun show, and I love watching Nathan Fillion. I don't feel like I will create anything for either fandom, I just like (re)watching them for now. I have the Big Bang to concentrate on. TWO ENTRIES!

And finally, this evening I received an update from a website I follow, called makeuseof.com. They often post links to interesting stuff. In their free mp3 albums section they posted a link to bandcamp, a website where artists can upload their songs/albums and make them available for free or small donation. I liked the one called Spectrum 2.0, by Brittany Bosco. She's described as
an artist from Savannah, Georgia. Being a professionally trained singer, she is able to use her voice in ways most young talents can only dream of. The album was originally released in September last year, but it’s timeless.
Genre: alternative, indie, experimental, jazz, soul, so I would recommend it to anyone who's partial to those genres.

I recently read an article on muscle and back pain which basically states that doctors tend not to believe people who complain about that kind of pain because the causes are not easily tracked down. The believability level gets lower if you're a woman complaining about pain. >_
