Joining others in the desktop meme posts, here's my current one:



I usually change it each month, and use one of the calendar wallpapers from Smashing Magazine. They currently have calendar wallpapers for June.

They recently had a post about free fonts for your designs, and another one about 50 free icon sets. Those of you who like Star Trek will be especially pleased about the Star Trek icon pack, but the rest are also gorgeous!

No idea, but I can vaguely remember the person who made this wallpaper said they found inspiration in Johnny Cash. Now, I'm unfamiliar with Johnny Cash to the degree to not even know what he looks like, so it could be him without me realizing it.

Or it could just be some random guy found in a stock photo.

He does look like Johnny Cash, and I can she how she was inspired.

Oh, I see how they would! What I know of Johnny Cash are some random songs heard on the radio, maybe a picture or two I briefly glossed over, and the movie with Joaquin Phoenix. Thanks, you learn something new every day!

Oh, and just out of curiosity, what time is it at your side of the globe? I'm at work, on my break at the moment, so I'm checking mail & LJ.

Johnny Cash was and still is awesome! And I love his voice. He also dressed in black.

It's 7pm here and I too am going through my email and lj but it's always quiet this time of night :) Gives me time to catch up!

There is at least one Johnny Cash song that I plan on making an M7 music vid to! Did you ever happen to watch Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman? I know you like westerns... well he guest starred on the show a few times with his wife June.

Anyway, that's an awesome wallpaper, and reminds me a lot of Ezra! I'm thinking of removing the guy and photoshopping him in!

My fav character on the show was Hank the bar owner. I thought he was hot even though he was a bit of a jerk!

Oh yay. I'm glad I'm not the only one who liked Hank despite his faults! He did have some nicer moments.
