Yes, Kurban Bajram is what we call it locally (Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia), due to the Turkish influence, but even less people know what that is, so I use the Arabic equivalent. :)
Here (in Russia and other remnants of the USSR) it's called the same, guess it's partly Turkish influence, too, though I'm not sure about Tatar language, it's kinda old enough on its own:) (and Tatars are main Islamic community in my corner of the country).
I'm told my great-grandfather moved from somewhere in the former USSR to Montenegro, where my late mother was born, due to religious pressure. The exact timeline eludes me, but I do recall seeing photos of people wearing distinct clothing, very different from what was worn in Montenegro at the time. So, who knows, I might have some Tatar ancestors! :) I'd love to take part in the Genographic Project conducted by National Geographic, but the price is $100 per testing kit! O_O
